Hello, it’s Stacy from Craftaholicmomma up today on the Scrapping for Less blog with a set of Secret Santa Gifts I made for my daughter’s classmate.

My daughter, Emily, is in the 6th grade and this year they are doing Secret Santa. She drew Jacob’s name. We are to do three gifts totaling no more than $7. I had to really get creative to figure this out.

His first gift is a blue water bottle (his favorite color) deck out with his name and geometric shapes cut from vinyl. I put several drink packets in the bottle. I managed to score a dozen water bottles in assorted colors at Walmart when they were on clearance for only 10 cents. So this gift definitely fell within the cost parameters.

His second gift was a can of Pizza flavored Pringles and a bag of M&Ms, also his favorite snack/candy.

His third gift is a composition notebook I decorated with the Doodlebug Winter Wonderland 12×12 Collection pack. I cut his name out using a font preloaded onto my Brother Scan n Cut. I then made an accompanying bookmark which I laminated. I continued on trying to use up my scraps from the notebook so then I made an ornament with the Yeti Doodlebug Doodlepop and banner dies by Gina Marie Designs. I still had one 3×5 scrap left so I made a card for him, revealing who his Secret Santa was.

So all in all I hope he loves his gifts and I think I nailed the $7 cost parameters perfectly.

Here is what I made:

The Composition Notebook

The Bookmark

The Ornament

And the little card with matching envelope
